Connor-"R-E-S-P-E-C-T"

1. The media being used is obviously a song

2. The social issues being brought up is repeated with a passion throughout the song, that women demand and deserve respect

3. Lines the signify the importance: "Is for a little respect when you come home" and "R-E-S-P-E-C-T find out what it means to me"

4. The target audience for this song is more or less women everywhere

5. It portraits its message with repetition of words, clever rhyme schemes, added emphasis on important words such as "RESPECT", and the lyrics themselves connect to its target audience in such a way that most of these women can relate to what the singer is trying to say and thats what made this piece so successful in the first place, and ultimately its why you still hear it to this day

6. Its effective because the song truly hits home, its something people can listen to, relate to and truly appreciate, but it also is a song that is very catchy and its message is spread by the many people who sing the powerful lyrics of this song and this is why we still hear it to this day
